Haryana Government has revised its minimum wage for part-time and daily workers, effective July 1, 2025.
In a notice released by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi on October 30, 2025, the Haryana Government has revised the wages for various workers. The state labour department changes its wages every year in January and July to keep up with varying cost-of-living and developmental conditions.
Keeping the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in mind, the Haryana government has decided to increase the wages of workers by 0.23% across all categories of workers. The average CPI at the end of December 2024 was 3438.5 points, which rose to 3446.3 points by June 2025.
The updated minimum wages for workers are as follows:
- Unskilled: ₹11,274.60
- Semi-Skilled (A): ₹11,838.29
- Semi-Skilled (B): ₹12,430.18
- Skilled (A): ₹13,051.71
- Skilled (B): ₹13,704.31
- Highly Skilled: ₹14,389.52
For Clerical and Office Staff, the revised rates are as follows:
- Below Matriculation: ₹11,838.29
- Matriculation but not Graduate: ₹12,430.18
- Graduate or above: ₹13,051.71
- Senior Stenographer / Personal Assistant: ₹14,389.52
- Private Secretary: ₹15,108.99
Drivers and Security Personnel will now be compensated as follows:
- Light Vehicle Driver: ₹13,704.31
- Heavy Vehicle Driver: ₹14,300.52
- Security Guard (Without Arms): ₹11,838.29
- Security Guard (With Arms): ₹13,704.31
- Security Officer / Inspector: As per skill category (Skilled/Highly Skilled)
The Haryana government has also updated the rates for brick kiln workers, which go as follows:
- Pathera (Moulder): ₹ 642.37 per 1,000 bricks
- Tile Maker: ₹721.67 per 1,000 tiles
- Filler:
- Up to 400m distance: ₹289.03 per 1,000 bricks
- Additional distance (per 100m): ₹25.63 per 1,000 bricks
- Filler by vehicle (up to 1000m): ₹237.61 per 1,000 bricks
- Additional distance (per 500m): ₹25.63 per 1,000 bricks
- Carrywala: ₹51.33 per 1,000 bricks
- Withdrawal: ₹211.94 per 1,000 bricks
- Mason/Mistry/Coalman/Burner: ₹ 13,051.71 per month
