Greaves Electric Mobility appoints Samarpita Banerjee as chief human resources officer (CHRO) to strengthen its leadership team as the company enters a critical phase of growth and transformation
Based in Bengaluru, Banerjee will oversee the end-to-end people and HR function, aligning talent strategy, organisational culture, and leadership development with the company’s business priorities across manufacturing, technology, and sales. She will also support key transformation initiatives, including preparations for a potential public listing.
Banerjee brings over two decades of global HR leadership experience across multiple industries.
Before joining Greaves Electric Mobility, she served as Group Human Resources Director and Board Member at Carrier, where she led HR strategy for high-growth digital, engineering, and global business services functions across APAC and other international markets.
Her earlier career includes senior HR leadership roles at Wipro, Diageo, Solera Holdings, Novozymes, and DealerSocket, spanning sectors such as IT, automotive, HVAC, SaaS, and consumer products. Widely recognised for leading large-scale global transformations, M&A integrations, and inclusive leadership initiatives, Banerjee’s appointment underscores Greaves Electric Mobility’s focus on building future-ready leadership and organisational capability.
