Garware Technical Fibres has appointed Poonam Gupta as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
In her new role, Gupta will focus on building leadership capability, fostering a high-performance culture and aligning HR priorities with Garware Technical Fibres’ long-term business objectives. She will also oversee initiatives aimed at strengthening workforce effectiveness and organisational resilience.
Gupta joins Garware Technical Fibres with extensive global HR experience. She spent nearly 15 years with Metso Corporation, where she most recently served as Vice President, Regional HR for the Middle East, India and earlier the Asia Pacific region.
In that capacity, she led HR strategy and people programmes across diverse geographies, contributing to talent development, culture transformation and business support initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Gupta was AVP Human Resources at Genpact, where she led HR functions for global IT organisations and key client accounts, gaining deep expertise in talent management, organisational development and HR operations.
Her appointment reflects Garware Technical Fibres’ focus on strengthening its human capital foundation as the company continues to scale operations and pursue strategic growth.
