Soumya Ranjan Munda has joined Finova Capital as Regional Head – People & Culture (East). In this role, he will spearhead key initiatives in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Talent Development across the eastern region.
Soumya previously served with IndusInd Bank as Regional Manager – HR, Consumer Banking (Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh). He brings over a decade of experience with a strong track record in recruitment, performance management, and employee development. He is skilled in designing and implementing HR strategies to attract, retain, and nurture top talent, while effectively managing employee relations, compliance, and HR policies. Soumya also has a solid background in conducting interviews, onboarding, and training programs, and is adept at leveraging HRIS systems and data analytics to support strategic decision-making. His key skills include Human Resources (HR), Project Management, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and Analytical Skills.
Soumya’s career spans several renowned organizations, including Fusion Finance Ltd., Toppr, Vistaar Financial Services Pvt Ltd., Home Credit India, HDFC Life, and GE, where he has held progressively responsible roles in HR business partnering, recruitment, learning, and people management. He began his career as an HR Intern – HR Operations at GE, where he managed employee MIS, coordinated employee engagement activities, and was responsible for the accurate filing and documentation of CVs, evaluation forms, and joining documents.
