Festo inaugurated a new Global Capability Centre in Bengaluru on February 18, 2026.
With this GCC, the company stated that it aims to advance Industry 4.0, automation and smart manufacturing. The facility can accommodate up to 600 employees and, according to Festo, represents a strategic investment in the region, as the company completes 40 years of operations in India.
In a statement, Festo revealed that the GCC, with highly skilled professionals, will serve as a strategic hub for advanced engineering, digital solutions, software development, data analytics and process excellence, supporting Festo’s global operations. With the expertise of Festo’s existing employees, the GCC also aims to support global process optimisation and innovation.
“Our GCC in Bengaluru aligns with Festo’s vision of automation for a sustainable future. The centre will play a significant role in driving global R&D initiatives while fostering collaboration with India’s rich technology and engineering talent pool,” said Ravi Sastry, Festo’s Managing Director.
