Emversity has promoted Megha Lal to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Lal has been a part of Emversity since July 2024. She joined the company as Vice President (VP), Human Resources. She has over 11 years of experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, PMS, HR strategy, process improvement, change management and organisation design.
From June 2021 to July 2024, Lal was associated with Unacademy as Director, HR. In this role, she served as the head of people practices for the new businesses, including Graphy (SaaS business), Offline UPSC Centres (Retail), NextLevel (AI Hiring Platform), PrepLadder (Online Test Preparation Platform), and Unacademy Language Learning.
Before that, Lal was Assistant Vice President – HR for IndusInd Bank from July 2015 to December 2019. This provided her extensive experience in corporate hiring, HR analytics and performance management.
In July 2012, Lal joined ACC Limited as Manager, HR, and held the role until July 2015. In the past, she has also worked for Heinz India, L’Oréal, Mondelēz International, Piramal Healthcare, and 9X Media.
