eClerx Services has appointed Asma Sultana as the Principal, Head of Human Resources.

“Asma’s appointment comes at a transformative time for eClerx, as we accelerate our growth journey and strengthen organizational capabilities. Her extensive experience in HR strategy, talent development, and culture-building will be instrumental in shaping the future of our workforce,” said Kapil Jain, Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of eClerx.

Sultana added her own thoughts, stating, “I look forward to fostering an environment that champions collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. My focus will be on enhancing employee experience, strengthening leadership capabilities, and ensuring that eClerx remains an employer of choice in the industry.”

Having been a part of the corporate world for over 26 years, Sultana has worked with a diverse set of portfolios and handled various HR functions. She is well-versed in areas such as talent acquisition, leadership hiring, leadership development, etc. For her contributions, she was listed among Forbes India and Indeed’s Top 30 Talent Leaders of 2025. She is also a certified member of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and is qualified to deal with cases pertaining to the POSH Act– The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act of 2013.

Before joining eClerx, Sultana was a part of Alorica as the Global Talent Management Head from March 2022 to March 2025. She was also a part of Accenture for over fourteen years, having joined the company in July 2007 as Manager – HR (Industry Group HR Lead). In September 2013, Sultana became the Senior Manager – Talent Strategy, followed by her appointment as the Vice President of Human Resources for North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America. In September 2019, she became the Senior Vice President – Leadership Hiring (Operations).

Sultana worked for Hewlett-Packard as Senior Manager – HR Business Partner from January 2005 to June 2007. She was also a part of LG Soft India from November 2002 to December 2004 as a Recruitment Manager. An alumna of XLRI Jamshedpur, Sultana has a Postgraduate Certification in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM) and has won the Harver Lift Award.
