Eastman Auto and Power appoints Tilak Kapoor as President – Human Resources

Tilak Kapoor has taken on the role of President – Human Resources at Eastman Auto & Power Limited. In this capacity, he will spearhead the company’s HR strategy with a strong emphasis on talent development, employee engagement, and driving organizational transformation.

Before joining Eastman Auto & Power Limited, Tilak served as Head – HR, Confectionery SBU at DS Group for over four years. He oversaw HR operations for DS Foods (FMCG vertical), covering sales, support and HR functions. Tilak was responsible for driving HR strategy and execution to align with business objectives while supporting senior leadership. He also led a dedicated team of over 20 HR professionals.

Tilak brings over 20 years of rich experience across the FMCG, Home Electrical, Pharmaceutical, and Chemical industries, having held diverse roles in Plant HR, R&D HR, HR Business Partnering, Sales HR, and Corporate HR. He has led key strategic initiatives in areas such as Talent Management, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, Training & Development, Performance Management (PMS), Diversity & Inclusion, Employer Branding, Strategic Workforce Planning, Well-being, and Post-Merger Integration. Additionally, Tilak has overseen Industrial Relations, Statutory Compliance, and Blue-Collar Workforce Management.

Over the course of his career, Tilak has held key HR roles at renowned organizations such as Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd, Moser Baer India Ltd, and Nicholas Piramal (I) Ltd./Roche Products Ltd. Academically, he is a postgraduate from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
