dentsu has appointed Vaishali Walimbe as India Talent Acquisition Director.

With over 25 years of experience, Walimbe is well-versed in global talent acquisition. talent engagement, HR operations, people management, global sourcing, resource management, account management for APAC, and much more. In the course of her career, she has worked across a variety of countries, including Singapore, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, etc.
Prior to joining dentsu, Walimbe was a part of SG Analytics. From August 2024 to October 2025, she served as Vice President – Global Talent Strategy. Walimbe was also associated with Xoriant from May 2021 to July 2024 as Head of Talent Acquisition.
For 11 years, Walimbe worked for Capgemini. She joined the company in May 2010 as a Recruitment Manager and then, in January 2013, became a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition. In January 2015, Walimbe was appointed as Program Manager, Talent Acquisition. This was followed by her ascension to Director of Talent Acquisition in May 2010.
Walimbe was also associated with Patni Computer Systems for over 4 years. She started working for the company in January 2006 as Talent Acquisition/People Manager APAC, a role she retained until May 2010. From February 2008 to December 2008, Walimbe also served as Talent Acquisition / People Manager in Tokyo. Similarly, from June 2009 to May 2010, she was an on-site Talent Acquisition/People Manager in Singapore.
From 2003 to December 2005, Walimbe was with Genovate Solutions as Senior Resource Executive (APAC) – Professional Services. Before that, she worked for Jerry Varghese International from September 2000 to August 2003 as an IT Recruitment/Project Manager. Walimbe was also a part of Aptech from January 1997 to September 2000 as an HR Manager.
