DCM Shriram Sugar has appointed Akhilesh Kumar Singh as Section Head – HR & Admin.
Before joining DCM Shriram Sugar, Singh was a part of JSW Steel. He was associated with the company from April 2024 to January 2026 as a Senior Manager, HR Operations. During this time, he provided an employee relations framework and contributed to ER practices to maintain a healthy work environment for on-roll & the outsourced workforce of over 25,000.
From November 2021 to April 2024, Singh worked for Tata Steel as Manager HRBP. He was also part of MP Birla Cement as Section In-Charge, Human Resources (TM OD & Culture Building), a role he took up in May 2021. Singh joined TATA AutoComp Systems in June 2019 as Plant Human Resources Manager.
In April 2019, Singh became a part of Tata Cummins as Section In-Charge, CLM. He was also affiliated with Ramakrishna Forgings as a Management Trainee in Human Resources, a role he took up in June 2017. Additionally, Singh worked with M/S GS Stone Works from August 2011 to July 2015 as a Human Resources Manager.
Singh has an MBA in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration/Industrial Relations/Labour Laws from Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
