Kamaljit Singh Bedi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Costa Coffee India, has resigned from his role, effective December 12, 2025.
Bedi’s exit from Costa Coffee India leaves the company to search for a CEO for the third time in the last three years. The company falls under the purview of Devyani International, which also handles Indian franchises of KFC and Pizza Hut.
Costa Coffee India had appointed Bedi as its CEO in January 2025 after Sreejit Nair left the position in November 2024. Prior to this, Bedi had been serving as Chief Executive Officer – Operations for Devyani International.
“I hereby tender my resignation from the position of Chief Executive Officer – Costa Coffee and Airport Business, with effect from the close of business hours on December 12, 2025,” Bedi said in his resignation letter. The letter was disclosed by Devyani under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Regulations, 2015. The former Costa Coffee CEO has stated that he will be pursuing opportunities outside the company.
“Over the course of my tenure, I have had the privilege of working alongside an exceptional team of colleagues. I am deeply grateful for the trust, support, and collaboration extended to me during this journey,” Bedi added.
