Carlsberg Group, one of the world’s leading brewery companies, on Wednesday launched its first IT Global Capability Centre in Gurugram. The move is part of the company’s strategy to accelerate digital transformation and strengthen its presence in India, one of its key growth markets.
The centre marks an important milestone in Carlsberg’s global digital journey, highlighting Gurugram as a vital hub for technology, innovation, and future growth, the company said in a statement. The new GCC will provide managed IT services, infrastructure operations, and application support for Carlsberg’s global operations, offering a scalable foundation to drive the company’s digital growth.
Carlsberg has teamed up with global IT services and consulting firm GSPANN to set up the GCC. Operating under a build-operate model, Carlsberg will maintain strategic control over the centre’s roadmap, while GSPANN handles day-to-day operations, talent onboarding, and service delivery, the company added.

Although the GCC is based in Gurugram, Carlsberg will also maintain a significant support team at GSPANN’s Hyderabad office to tap into specialized skills and enable flexible scaling.
