Captain Yogesh Gaur has been promoted to Chief Human Resources (HR), Hazira and Industrial Relations India at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel.

Gaur has been a part of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel for two years. He joined the company in September 2023 as the Head of HR. He held the position until his recent promotion and has been based in Hazira, Gujarat.
Before ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel, Gaur was a part of J M Baxi Group, working there as Senior Vice President HR from January 2020 to September 2023.
For a decade, Gaur was also affiliated with Vedanta Limited. In January 2010, he became a part of the company as Head – Talent Acquisition & Legal Compliances – Sterlite Copper, and then became Plant Head HR – Sterlite Copper in January 2011. From May 2012 to May 2015, Gaur served as Head HR – Vizag General Cargo Berth Pvt. Ltd. (A Unit of Sesa Sterlite).
In June 2015, Gaur was appointed as Associate GM – Human Capital Management by Vedanta. He was then promoted to General Manager, HR in October 2018 at Konkola Copper Mines in Zambia. In July 2019, Gaur became the General Manager of HR in Gurugram and retained the position until December 2019.
From January 2009 to January 2010, Gaur was a part of Indofil Chemical Company as Manager HR.
Gaur served honourably as Company Commander with the Indian Armed Forces. From October 2002 to September 2008, he contributed to military operations in counter-insurgency areas, in addition to end-to-end responsibilities of manpower management for his troops. During the peace tenure, he performed as a Staff Officer.
