British Petroleum has appointed Kiran Punjabi as Senior HR Business Partner, effective January 5, 2026, to strengthen its people leadership.
In her new role, Punjabi will partner with leaders across geographies to support workforce strategy, leadership effectiveness and cultural transformation, aligned with the company’s evolving business priorities and organisational goals.
Punjabi brings diverse global HR experience across the MedTech, Oil & Gas and Automotive sectors. Before joining British Petroleum, she was associated with Philips, where she played a key role in driving culture transformation initiatives, building high-performing teams and enabling leadership coaching across multiple markets.
Her earlier experience also includes work with Valvoline Cummins India, adding depth to her exposure across complex, multinational operating environments.
Known for her thoughtful and creative approach to HR business partnering, Punjabi has consistently focused on aligning people strategy with business outcomes while helping organisations build resilience and leadership capability.
With this appointment, the energy major reinforces its focus on strengthening people leadership and culture as it navigates transformation across its global operations.
