BMW Group India appoints Ranjeeka Sachdev as CHRO

BMW Group India has appointed Ranjeeka Sachdev as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In her new role, Sachdev will focus on strengthening employer branding, building agile talent pipelines, and infusing a forward-looking culture in line with global HR standards. Before her current appointment, Sachdev was working for the Jaquar group as their CHRO, having taken up the role in April 2024.

Sachdev was associated with Pernod Ricard for over 16 years. She joined the company in July 2007 as Senior Human Resources Manager. In August 2012, Sachdev was appointed as HR Head – Commercial. This was followed by her becoming General Manager – HR, South Asia in August 2017, a role she held on to until March 2024.

From 2005 to 2007, Sachdev was working for Gap as an Associate Manager of HR. Before that, she was a part of Yamaha Motor from 2002 to 2005 as Manager of HR. Sachdev was also associated with Maruti Udyog Limited in 2001 as an HR professional.

Sachdev has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in HR from the International Management Institute. She also holds a Master of Laws degree from the Lloyd Law College.
