BMC Helix has appointed Sakaar Anand as Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer.

In his new role, Anand will focus on redefining how technology and people come together to create the workforce of the future. His passion lies in transforming the employee experience through the power of AI, data, and human insight. Ultimately, he aims to help people innovate, grow, and make an impact.
With nearly 29 years of experience, Anand has held leadership roles in areas like HR, product, IT operations, and global delivery centres across several industries, as well as Centres of Excellence for Globalisation, Usability, Accessibility, Securability, and Business Intelligence worldwide.
Prior to his recent appointment, Anand was a part of BMC Software as India Head and Head of HR, a role he picked up in December 2020. Anand also worked for BNY Mellon from December 2018 to December 2020 as India Head of HR, Technology.
For over ten years, Anand was associated with CA Technologies. He joined the company in April 2008 as Vice President (VP), Software Engineering, and climbed the ranks until he became Senior Vice President, Software Engineering in September 2017. Anand has also worked for General Electric, the India Innovation Centre and American Express in the past.
