Birlasoft has promoted Deepak Chawla to Associate Director, HR.
Chawla has been part of the Birlasoft Group for over 15 years and has contributed to the company’s people operations through his expertise in HR technology & transformation, employee relations, performance appraisal, training & development, and other HR areas.
In December 2010, Chawla began working for Birlasoft (India) as a Senior HR Executive. This was followed by his appointment as Assistant Manager, HR, at Birlasoft in July 2015. In April 2018, Chawla took up the role of Manager HR. He then became Senior Manager, HR, in January 2021, a role he held until his recent promotion.
During his time with Birlasoft, Chawla has served as an onboarding leader for India, a global offer management leader, and a global background verification leader. He is also well-versed in retention analysis, resource management, HR compliance, HR analytics, and grievance management.
From January 2007 to December 2010, Chawla was a part of HCL Technologies as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). He also has an MBA in Human Resources Management and Services from Sikkim Manipal University.
