Sonam Tyagi has been appointed Head of Human Resources at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), strengthening the institute’s leadership team as it continues to focus on building robust people practices and supporting institutional growth.
In her new role, she will lead HR strategy, talent development initiatives, and organisational effectiveness across the academic institution.
Before joining BIMTECH, Tyagi served as Human Resource Manager at Sparsh Universe Group of Educational Institutions and previously held a similar role at Sharda University, where she managed key HR operations and employee engagement initiatives.
She also worked as Manager of Human Resources at Ramagya Group, overseeing workforce management and HR generalist functions, and began her career as a Human Resources Officer at Lovely Professional University, gaining foundational experience in talent management and employee lifecycle processes.
Her appointment highlights BIMTECH’s continued emphasis on strengthening its people and culture framework to support long-term academic and organisational excellence.
