Biocon Biologics has appointed Deepak Dobriyal as Global Head of Talent and HR Transformation.
“We’re delighted to welcome Deepak Dobriyal as Global Head of Talent & HR Transformation at Biocon Biologics,” the company shared on LinkedIn. “Deepak joins us with over 29 years of rich and diverse experience across global organisations and will lead our efforts to strengthen all facets of Talent — from talent acquisition, talent management/ succession planning, performance management, learning, DEIB, Ways of working, and HR transformation.”
In his new role, Dobriyal will focus on driving impactful strategies to build the talent pipeline for the future, a skill-based/ learning organisation, and career development. Through this, he will contribute to the company’s goal of creating an exceptional employee experience and a purpose-driven employer brand.
Dobriyal shared his own excitement about the appointment, stating, “Absolutely delighted to join Biocon Biologics! Prior to joining Biocon Biologics, Dobriyal had been associated with Birlasoft for over 11 years. He joined the company in May 2014 as Vice President Corporate HR and Talent Acquisition. In January 2017, he was promoted to Vice President, Corporate HR and Global Talent Management. This was followed by Dobriyal becoming Senior Vice President, Global leader Talent Management and Corporate HR in January 2020, a role he retained until his latest appointment.
For over 9 years, Dobriyal was a part of Cognizant Technology Solutions. He started as a Head-People Practices (BPO) in 2005 and then became Integration Manager and Head of HR, MarketRx, a Cognizant Company in August 2008. This was followed by his taking up HR Transformation and Consulting in March 2010 and then Enterprise Transformation in December 2011. In September 2013, Dobriyal became Talent Acquisition (North & West India) and site HR Leader.
From 2003 to 2005, Dobriyal worked for NCR Corporation as a Senior HR Consultant. He was also a part of IBM Global Process Services (IBM Daksh) from 2002 to 2003 as Manager HR. He held the same role from 2000 to 2002 for Newgen Software Technologies.
