Bharti Airtel has appointed Akanksha Kanojia as Head, Talent, Culture & DEI. In her new role, Kanojia will drive Airtel’s talent, culture and DEI priorities, with a mandate to deepen leadership pipelines, build a high-performance and inclusive work environment, and integrate DEI more firmly into the company’s long-term growth agenda.
According to a People Matters report, Kanojia will be responsible for shaping Airtel’s enterprise-wide approach to leadership development, organisational culture and diversity, equity and inclusion, according to the company.
Over the years, she has also served as HR Head, Organisation Productivity and Transformation, Circle HR Head, and HR Business Partner for Sales and Distribution. Across these assignments, she has led people transformation initiatives, supported frontline workforce operations and aligned HR strategy with business priorities, with a focus on productivity improvement, change leadership and capability building.
With more than 13 years at Airtel, Kanojia brings strong institutional insight and a track record across diverse HR leadership roles. Prior to this elevation, she headed HR for the DTH and Customer Experience businesses, partnering closely with business leaders to enhance workforce efficiency, employee engagement and execution across large customer-facing teams.
