Bandhan Life has appointed Deepankar Sadhukhan as Senior Vice President, Human Resources (Talent and Culture).
In his new role, Sadhukhan will lead the company’s talent and culture agenda, with responsibility for leadership capability building, learning and development architecture, and cultural evolution.
His mandate also includes embedding digital and AI-enabled HR solutions to support workforce agility, performance and future readiness as Bandhan Life continues to scale.
Sadhukhan joins Bandhan Life from Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Limited, where he served as Vice President, overseeing Talent, Learning and Organisation Development, HR Business Partnering and Corporate Talent Acquisition. During his tenure, he led several industry-first initiatives across HR technology, leadership development and employee experience, and was twice recognised through the company’s Global Innovation Fund for his contributions.
Earlier in his career, he held senior HR leadership roles at IDFC FIRST Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he was involved in large-scale HR transformation initiatives across the banking and financial services sectors. His experience spans talent strategy, organisational design, leadership development and change management in complex, regulated environments.
