Axis Max Life Insurance has appointed Gautam Khanna as Vice President (VP), Talent Acquisition.
Khanna has a proven track record as a dynamic and results-driven HR leader. He is well-versed in HR business partnering, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, employee relations, learning & development, HR digitisation, and health & safety programs. Additionally, Khanna is known for leveraging data-driven insights to drive business impact, optimise workforce planning, and implement cutting-edge HR technologies for enhanced efficiency.
The recent appointment marks Khanna’s return to Axis Max Life Insurance. He had previously been a part of Max Life Insurance Company for over 6 years. Khanna joined Max Life in March 2016 as a Chief Manager – HR Business Partner, and later became Assistant Vice President – HR (Compensation & Benefits) in October 2018.
In June 2019, Khanna became HR Business Partner – Sales & Operations Centre (Assistant Vice President HR) and was appointed as HR Business Partner – Sales & Operations Centre (Vice President -HR) in October 2021.
From October 2022 to October 2025, Khanna was with Harmony Hyundai as General Manager – Human Resources. He was also affiliated with Genpact India from August 2015 to March 2016 as Senior Human Resources Manager – (HR Business Partner Bangalore & Gurugram).
For over 3 years, Khanna had been a part of Bharti Walmart. He joined in February 2012 as Human Resources Manager – (HR Business Partner) and became Senior Manager HR – (HR Business Partner, Head Talent Acquisition & HR Internal Communications) in June 2014.
Khanna joined IGT Solutions in June 2007 as Human Resources Executive (MIS, Annual PMS). He became Senior Executive Human Resources (HR Business Partner -Information Technology) in December 2007 and HR Business Partner Lead – Domestic & International BPO – Assistant Manager – HR in December 2009. Additionally, Khanna has worked for Aegis BPO and Into Solutions.
