Awfis Space Solutions has appointed Surbhi Rajpal Kalra as Head- Human Resources (HR).
With over 20 years of experience in HR and business functions, Kalra has worked in a variety of manufacturing and service industries, including chemicals, fertilisers, FMCG, BFSI, consulting, and IT. She is an expert in aligning HR strategies with business objectives while keeping the long-term vision in mind. She has also overseen various talent management interventions, created performance acceleration programs, and developed leadership pipelines.
With sharp business acumen and cost prudence, Kalra has implemented innovative solutions for organisational performance assessment and is adept at manpower planning and budgeting. She is also well-versed in organisation design, effectiveness, compensation & benefits, and competency mapping.
Prior to Awfis Space Solutions, Kalra was affiliated with Jubilant Ingrevia. She started at the company as Associate Director of Human Resources in September 2021. In July 2024, Kalra was promoted to Director – Human Resources. From September 2017 to September 2021, Kalra worked with PeopleQ Consulting as a Senior Consultant. Kalra was affiliated with SBI General Insurance from March 2013 to July 2014 as Assistant Vice President- Human Resources.
For over 8 years, Kalra was a part of Tata Chemicals. She joined the company in June 2004 as an Assistant Manager – HR and then became Deputy Manager – HR in May 2008. In April 2010, Kalra was appointed as Manager – HR and then became Assistant General Manager – HR in April 2011.
