Avistos has appointed Preeta Mohanty as Chief People Officer.

Mohanty has a proven track record in change management, with a focus on introducing/improving HR processes and policies within highly regulated regions. Her areas of expertise include performance management, recruitment, compensation, policy/procedure development, and organisational design. Mohanty is also well-versed in team building & mentoring, HR financial planning, people strategy development and process improvement.
Prior to joining Avistos, Mohanty was a part of Narayana One Health. From July 2023 to October 2025, she served as Head of People Success (HR). In October 2022, Mohanty joined Tata Consulting Engineers and worked there as General Manager HR until June 2023. Mohanty was also associated with Amazon from October 2020 to October 2022. She joined the company as a Senior HR Business Partner and then became AP-CS-Program Manager in August 2021.
For over five years, Mohanty worked for Tata Communications. She was first appointed as Assistant Manager – Global Business Partner (HR) in September 2015 and then became Manager – Global Business Partner (HR) in April 2017. In July 2018, Mohanty was given the role of Manager – Regional Business Partner(HR), followed by her ascension to Senior Manager – Regional Business Partner(HR) in April 2019.
From September 2013 to August 2015, Mohanty worked for LearningMate as Manager – HR. She was also affiliated with Dale Carnegie India from July 2012 to September 2013 as Assistant Manager – HR. Mohanty’s past workplaces include her time as Head of HR – Manager at K.M. Dastur Reinsurance Broking and as a Software Engineer at Infosys.
