Avantor has promoted Vikas Kumar to Director, Global Talent Acquisition – Europe & AMEA (Asia, Middle East, and Africa).

With over 19 years of experience, Kumar has been leading talent acquisition for the Asia, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) region at Avantor. He has been covering all hiring across the global capability centres (GCC), commercial and manufacturing, and leads global IT recruitment across APAC, the US, and Europe.
Kumar has been associated with Avantor for over 7 years. He joined the company in December 2018 as Global Talent Acquisition Leader – Asia, Middle East and Africa, a position he retained until his recent promotion.
Prior to Avantor, Kumar had been associated with Lava International from July 2018 to December 2018 as Deputy General Manager – Employer Branding. He was also with GlobalLogic from 2014 to 2018 as Manager of Talent Acquisition.
From 2010 to 2014, Kumar worked for Aon as Manager of Talent Acquisition. Before that, he was a part of RAMPgreen as Senior Technical Recruiter – HR. Kumar has also been affiliated with iGATE Global Solutions as a Senior Technical Recruiter from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, he was with APN Software Services from 2006 to 2007 as a Technical Recruiter.
