Algoworks has appointed Ashish Banka as Vice President – Human Resources.

In his new role, Banka will focus on building a future-ready, high-performance organisation by driving strategic talent acquisition, leadership development, organisational effectiveness, and a strong employee value proposition across geographies. He will also be working on initiatives around change management, capability building, culture transformation, and scaling teams to support business expansion and delivery excellence.
Along with his new role, Banka is also serving as an Advisor for SAGE University, a role he took up in February 2026.
From July 2022 to January 2026, Banka was a part of Cradlewise as Global Head – Talent Acquisition and HRBP. Before that, he had served as Director, Talent Acquisition and HRBP at Delhivery, a role he took up in July 2021. In November 2019, Banka joined the Compass Group as Assistant General Manager – TA & HRBP.
Banka joined Reliance Retail in January 2017 as Senior Manager – TA & HRBP. He was also affiliated with Qatar Airways from December 2013 to January 2017 as Country HR Manager – HRBP & Talent Acquisition. Additionally, Banka has been part of Voltas as a Zonal TA & HRBP (October 2011 to August 2013) and the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) as a Supervisor (HR & Hospitality) (July 2008 to July 2010).
