We often hear about festival bonuses or annual bonuses, but loyalty bonuses are far less common. Recently, Ahmedabad-based IT firm Code and Core recognized one of its earliest employees, Krunal Chaudhari, with a ₹1 lakh loyalty bonus along with a commemorative medal.
Krunal became part of the company in 2017, back when it was just a three-member start-up. Over the past eight years, he has seen it grow into a 48-member team, delivering more than 1,300 projects across 25 countries. The leadership credits his unwavering commitment as a key factor in shaping the company’s growth journey.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Mayur Soni described Krunal as “a pillar of the organisation,” noting that the reward reflects the company’s core values of culture, commitment, and collective progress. Code and Core has also developed an employee-first benefits framework that includes family and term insurance, five-day workweeks, performance incentives, and leisure perks such as movie outings and free snacks.
For Krunal, however, what stands out most are not the perks but the people. “It’s not the late nights I remember, but the colleagues who were there with me,” he shared, recalling team trips, late-night project deadlines, and bonding activities that turned coworkers into friends. He fondly mentioned the company’s five-day international trip to Dubai in 2023, saying, “When we rode the Ferrari World roller coaster, the speed, the thrill, and the collective screams, made it truly unforgettable.”
