AHEAD has appointed Prajwal UI as Director – People & Operations, India.

In his new role, Prajwal will lead AHEAD’s people strategy, operational excellence and organisational transformation initiatives across its India operations.

With over two decades of experience, Prajwal is well-versed in human resources leadership, business transformation, and HR technology across global enterprises. He is also skilled in talent management, performance and rewards frameworks, compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion programs, HR automation and SAP HCM-driven process transformation.

Speaking about his appointment, Prajwal UI said, “AHEAD’s focus on building strong, integrated platforms for enterprises aligns closely with my belief that people, processes, and technology must evolve together. I look forward to partnering with leadership teams to strengthen our people practices, enable scalable operations and support the organisation’s growth journey in India.”

His experience in managing complex, global workforces and driving transformation at scale will be instrumental as we continue to invest in India as a core delivery and innovation hub.”

Most recently, Prajwal served as Director – Human Resources at Unisys India from June 2021 to March 2025. While there, he played a key role in strengthening talent strategy, driving operational efficiency, and supporting business growth across hybrid and multi-location teams.

Prior to this, Prajwal was with Wipro Technologies for over a decade. He joined the company in January 2011 as Manager – Human Resources. From February 2015 to June 2017, Prajwal was assigned as Senior Manager – Human Resources, leading HR functions for one of Wipro’s Acquisitions in the US.

In February June 2017, Prajwal became Senior Manager – Human Resources and HRBP Lead for the Telecom Business Unit and the CTO function, based in Bengaluru. During his tenure, he also program-managed the persons with disabilities (PwD) initiative under the company’s diversity and inclusion charter.

Earlier in his career, Prajwal held HR and consulting roles at Infosys Technologies, SAP India, and Comat Technologies. He holds a PGDM in Human Resources and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is a trained SAP HR functional consultant with hands-on experience in automating and optimising enterprise HR processes.
