Affle has appointed Rupane Sharma as Vice President, Human Resources.
In his new role, Sharma will lead all key HR areas, partnering with leadership to strengthen our people strategy, build high-performing teams, and foster a culture of growth and innovation. With over 15 years of experience, Sharma is poised to bring his expertise in digital HR, performance management, people management, and more.
Before Affle, Sharma was a part of Axis Max Life Insurance. He was there from April 2023 to November 2025 as Vice President HR & Head COE- Talent Acquisition. Sharma was also part of Luminous Power Technologies as General Manager, HR | Head, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, a role he took up in March 2022.
Sharma was with Bharti Airtel for over 6 years. He started working for the company in April 2015 as Senior Manager and then became Deputy General Manager in April 2017. From October 2018 to May 2021, Sharma served as Deputy General Manager. He then became General Manager in June 2021 and held the role until January 2022.
For over 4 years, Sharma was associated with Infosys BPM. He was first appointed as Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition in August 2010 and then became Manager – Talent Acquisition in January 2013. Sharma was later promoted to Senior Manager- Talent Acquisition in January 2015.
