Kapil Mahajan has joined Aequs Limited as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, he will oversee the Human Resources function across all business divisions of the company.
His appointment marks a significant step in strengthening Aequs’ people strategy and fostering a high-performance, future-ready organizational culture. With deep expertise in HR transformation and leadership development, Kapil will play a key role in driving growth and aligning talent initiatives with Aequs’ strategic vision.
With over two decades of diverse HR leadership experience, Kapil has worked with renowned organizations such as Tata Advanced Systems, Tata Teleservices, Pfizer, Aditya Birla Group, and Reliance Communications. His extensive background has enabled him to shape organizational culture and strategy, introducing best practices in talent transformation, capacity utilization, employee experience, and culture-building—particularly in greenfield ventures.
Kapil has also played a pivotal role in mentoring and coaching emerging leaders, consistently championing the power of human potential. He believes in leveraging technology to unlock talent and foster a culture built on trust. Academically, Kapil is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur and a certified coach.
