Adani Group has appointed Dr Samir Mishra as Chief People Officer – BESS, GH2 & Electrolyzer.

Dr Mishra has a long association with the Adani Group and has served the company in various capacities over the years. He first joined Adani Enterprises in November 2019 as Talent Acquisition (TA) and Corporate HR (Privatisation 6 Airports). In November 2020, Dr Mishra was promoted to Talent Acquisition Specialist, a role he held until February 2021.
From March 2021 to March 2022, Dr Mishra was a part of Adani Airport Holdings as Lead Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management and Corporate HRBP. He returned to the company in August 2023 as Head HR, a role he held until his recent appointment as Chief People Officer.
For a brief period, from April 2022 to August 2023, Dr Mishra worked with Mumbai International Airport (CSMIA) as HR Business Partner – MIAL.
Dr Mishra was also affiliated with Tata Power for over two years. He joined the company in July 2017 as Corporate HR – Cadre Management and was then promoted to HR Manager – Corporate IR, Contract Labour Management & Campus Hiring in March 2018. In April 2019, Dr Mishra was promoted to Group Head, BHR – Services Business.
In the past, Dr Mishra was associated with United Breweries from April 2016 to June 2016 as an HR Intern. He was also a Marketing Manager for Global Franchisee Franchisor from December 2013 to December 2014.
Dr Mishra has a PhD from Sri Balaji University, Pune, in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. He also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar) in the same subject.
