Abbott has promoted Sriram Rajan to Director, Organisation & Culture: APAC.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director, Organisation & Culture: APAC at Abbott!” Rajan shared on LinkedIn.

Rajan joined Abbott in July 2025 as Director Talent & Organisation Consulting: India, a role he’d held until his recent promotion. With over 25 years of experience, Rajan has helped companies with business metrics around people engagement and is well-versed in critical functions of HR.

Over the years, Sriram has received various honours, including being felicitated as the MEA HR Professional of the Year in November 2017. His work around C-Suite leadership and culture development won the Top award across the MEA region in 2017.

For over 6 years, Rajan was associated with Novartis. He joined in July 2019 as the Head of the Novartis Learning Institute, India. This was followed by his becoming Global Head, Capability & Leadership Development: Novartis Operations & Global Functions in January 2023. In September 2023, he was given the role of Global Director: Leadership Development.

Rajan was a part of the SIG Group from November 2014 to June 2019. He joined as Head MEA: Organisation Development & Talent Management and was promoted to Business Partner, Office of the COO: MEA Region in May 2017. From August 2012 to April 2014, Rajan was with Deloitte as Talent Development Leader: Enabling Areas.

In the past, Rajan has also worked for Deutsche Bank, Mphasis, GE Capital, and American Express.
