ABB has appointed Biswajit Deb as People Leader – Talent Acquisition.
With over 15 years of experience, Deb has worked on people strategies on both the Indian and global levels. He is well-versed in areas like learning & development, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, HR technology, and organisational development.
Over the years, Deb has worked in a variety of industries, including shipping & logistics, ports & terminals, and pharmaceuticals/biopharmaceuticals. Through his expertise, he has helped build strong teams, improve performance, and prepare for the future.
Prior to joining ABB, Deb was affiliated with A.P. Moller. He worked at the company as Talent Acquisition and Attraction Manager and Lead – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (GSC) from October 2022 to September 2025. In April 2021, Deb joined Intas Pharmaceuticals and worked as Senior Manager – HR until October 2022.
For over six years, Deb was affiliated with Adani Ports and SEZ. He joined the company in September 2014 as an HR Business Partner. In July 2017, Deb was elevated to Leadership Hiring – Corporate. From February 2011 to August 2014, Deb worked for Claris Limited as HR Business Partner.
Deb holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM) in human resource development from XLRI Jamshedpur.
