Shoppers Stop has appointed Ms. Nabamita Banerjee as Customer Care Associate and Chief Human Resource Officer, effective September 1, 2025. This appointment is in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Rakeshkumar Saini, Vice President – Legal, Company Secretary & Chief Compliance Officer of Shoppers Stop, formally announced the appointment. The company noted that Nabamita’s leadership and HR expertise are expected to add significant value to the organization.
Nabamita brings 18 years of experience in Human Resources across IT, retail, and QSR sectors. Her areas of expertise include Business Partnering, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Organization Development, HR Operations, Inclusion & Diversity, Social Impact, and Change Management. She has previously served as Head of Human Resources at Tata Starbucks and has held key roles at Patni Computers and the Apparel Group.
Nabamita Banerjee shared a heartfelt farewell note to Starbucks India employees on LinkedIn:

Academically, Nabamita Banerjee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication from LD College of Engineering and an MBA in Human Resources from Welingkar Institute of Management.
