Abhijeet Jain has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Human Resources at UltraTech Cement. In this role, he will spearhead the company’s people strategy with a strong emphasis on talent development, employee engagement, and organizational growth. Abhijeet will lead initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities, build a high-performance culture, and align HR practices with UltraTech’s growth ambitions, further strengthening its position as an industry leader.
Abhijeet has been associated with UltraTech Cement for over four years, previously serving as Functional Head – HR Vice President and Assistant Vice President – HR. In these roles, he drove large-scale HR initiatives that closely aligned people strategy with the company’s business growth.
Before joining UltraTech Cement, Abhijeet worked with Wockhardt Ltd., where he served as Senior General Manager & Head HR, and earlier as General Manager & Head HR. In these roles, he oversaw HR operations for 10 manufacturing plants and a dedicated R&D center.
Overall, Abhijeet brings over 25 years of experience, having held senior HR leadership roles across renowned organizations such as TAFE, Pfizer, ABB, RICO Auto Industries Ltd., UFLEX Limited, Aksh Optifibre, Ranutrol Industries, and Samarthan – Centre for Development Support. His expertise spans diverse sectors such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, engineering, aerospace, packaging, and manufacturing.
