Anurag G. Kalyani has been named Director – HR, ER & Admin (CHRO) at Nidec Global Appliances. In this role, he will oversee Human Resources, Labour Relations, and Administrative Operations for the company’s upcoming greenfield mega manufacturing facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. His mandate includes fostering a strong people-first culture, nurturing talent in line with global best practices and ethical standards, and driving effective collaboration across multicultural teams from Brazil, Japan, and Italy.
Anurag brings close to 20 years of HR leadership experience across manufacturing, engineering, and supply-chain sectors, having held senior positions at Johnson & Johnson (MedTech Supply Chain), Wipro, Siemens (Aurangabad), Caterpillar Inc./Perkins India, Škoda Auto India, and Videocon Industries. His expertise include greenfield setups, plant operations, industrial relations, and global HR programs, precisely the blend of experience suited to his new role.
Anurag has also managed end-to-end HR functions across diverse industrial settings in India and Europe. A globally certified HR professional, he is consistently focused on driving business growth through change, innovation, and people excellence. Academically, Anurag holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University, a Master’s in Labour Laws from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), Aurangabad, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science.
