GAIL (India) Limited has introduced GAIL AI Tarang, an initiative designed to enhance AI literacy and build workforce capability. The program was launched at the GAIL Training Institute (GTI), Noida, marking a significant step toward preparing employees for a technology-driven future.
The programme was officially inaugurated by Chairman and Managing Director Sandeep Kumar Gupta, along with Director–Projects Deepak Gupta and Director–HR Ayush Gupta, in the presence of newly onboarded employees. During the launch, Mr. Gupta emphasized that AI has become indispensable in today’s business landscape, noting that adapting to technological advancements is essential for staying relevant.
After the inauguration, an engaging session was held that provided valuable insights into the possibilities of AI and outlined the framework of this specially designed program for GAIL employees. With the launch of GAIL AI Tarang, the company has taken a major step toward building a future-ready, technologically skilled workforce.
In FY 2024-25, GAIL (India) Limited delivered record financial results, strengthened natural gas infrastructure, and broadened its energy portfolio. Significant progress in LNG, petrochemicals, and city gas enhanced its resilience, while initiatives in biogas, digitalisation, and ESG highlighted its commitment to clean energy and sustainable growth.
