Dr. Ujjal Bhattacharjee has taken over as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Biorad Medisys Pvt Ltd, with more than 20 years of leadership experience in HR and operations across multinational organizations. Prior to this role, he served as Human Resources Director – Foundry India & Southeast Asia at Vesuvius.
He confirmed the appointment in a LinkedIn post, writing, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Biorad Medisys Pvt Ltd!”
Dr. Ujjal has gained extensive experience across Indian and global companies in the automotive, pharmaceutical, aerospace, off-highway, and chemical sectors. He brings strong expertise in strategic and operational HR management, including change management, organizational design and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, talent management, learning and development, recruitment, legal and industrial relations, as well as establishing and successfully managing shared services. He also has significant exposure to strategic HR matters in global organizations, working with diverse teams from multiple nationalities.
Dr. Ujjal has also worked with leading organizations such as GKN Plc and Fresenius Kabi, further strengthening his expertise across diverse industries. Academically, he holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
