Prabhanjan Prasoon has been appointed Senior Director – Talent Acquisition at Birlasoft, marking his return to the organization where he previously worked from 2005 to 2011 as Assistant Manager – RMG (Resource Management Group).
Announcing the news on LinkedIn, he wrote: “A New Beginning…In May 2005, a young MBA graduate took his first steps into the corporate world by joining Birlasoft as a trainee—eager to learn, grow, and make a mark. That graduate was me. Fast forward to December 2011, I moved on, armed with invaluable experience and countless memories. And now, after nearly 14 years, I’m delighted to share that I’ve rejoined Birlasoft as Senior Director – TA.”
With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Prabhanjan has focused his career on designing and executing talent strategies that scale, drive transformation, and deliver measurable results. Before joining Birlasoft, he spent nearly 13 years at Sopra Steria, where he served as Head – Talent Acquisition and Head – PMG (Resourcing). There his work focused on recruitment, employee experience, total rewards, performance management, workforce planning, and HR digitalization. During his tenure, he also strengthened employer branding, expanded campus partnerships, and built a more agile, future-ready talent engine.
Known for driving initiatives in HR digitalization and employer branding, Prabhanjan has additionally lent his expertise as a mentor, guest speaker, and member of academic boards.
