Technip Energies, a global leader in engineering and technology solutions, has welcomed 280 new trainees across its India operations in Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Dahej this year. The hiring drive included campus placements at premier engineering institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs), underscoring the company’s commitment to building a future-ready, diverse workforce to support its business in India and worldwide. The company stated that these new appointments will be instrumental in driving its technological innovations and enhancing project execution in sectors including LNG, hydrogen, and sustainable chemistry.
A notable aspect of this year’s intake is the strong representation of women, around 60% of the new trainees are women, underscoring the company’s commitment to promoting gender diversity in core engineering and project roles.
The onboarding also marks an important milestone for Technip Energies in India. Earlier this year, the company unveiled a new operating office in GIFT City, Ahmedabad, along with a state-of-the-art Research & Innovation Center at IITM Research Park, Chennai. These expansions complement its existing operations in the country, strengthening both local project execution and global delivery capabilities
“We’re proud to welcome a new generation of trainees who will propel Technip Energies to new heights. You are joining a group of talented and innovative professionals who are passionate about creating solutions for a sustainable future,” shared Davendra Kumar, Managing Director, Technip Energies India, in a LinkedIn post.
