JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd., the flagship company of the diversified JK Organization, has appointed Anil Verma as Head – Human Resources for its Sirohi plant in Rajasthan. Verma took charge of the role in June.
Sharing the update on LinkedIn, Verma wrote, “I’m happy to share that I have started a new position as Head- HR at JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd.!“
With a robust dealer network of over 4,000 across states including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Odisha, and West Bengal, JK Lakshmi Cement continues to serve customers across diverse regions of India. Before taking on his new role, Verma served as Cluster HR Head at Ambuja Cements Limited, where he spent over three years driving people strategy and leading workforce transformation initiatives.
Verma has also previously held roles at organisations such as UltraTech Cement, T V Sundram Iyengar & Sons Limited, and Methodex Systems Pvt. Ltd. He brings with him over 27 years of extensive experience across areas such as Training, Performance Management, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Personnel Management, HR Policy Development, Talent Acquisition, Greenfield Projects, Crisis Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Union Relations, and Long-Term Settlements (LTS). Academically, Verma holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Labour Welfare and Personnel Management from Indore School of Social Work (ISSW), Indore, and an MBA in Human Resources from Punjab Technical University.
