DCM Shriram has appointed Hameed Jung as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of its agri-biotech subsidiary, Shriram Bioseed Genetics. Previously, he served as Vice President – Human Resources and Group Head – Learning & Development at DCM Shriram.
Jung brings over 20 years of professional experience to his role. Before joining DCM Shriram, he served as Head of Talent Development and Learning for India and South East Asia at Baxter International. His career also includes stints at Right Management, ICICI Prudential, General Motors, and General Electric.
He holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Poddar, meanwhile, holds an MBA from the Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, Pune.
Jung announced his new role on LinkedIn, stating, “Happy to share that I am starting a new position as CHRO of Shriram Bioseed Genetics. Thanks Sandeep G. and Sreekanth Chundi for this opportunity.” In his new role, he will spearhead HR initiatives aimed at fostering people-driven growth and enhancing the organization’s talent ecosystem.
