Adani Group has appointed Manoj Kumar Sharma as its Group Head of Industrial Relations.

Sharma has nearly 40 years of experience in the HR field. He has long been affiliated with companies under the Adani Group’s umbrella, making him a significant contributor to the company’s HR operations. Sharma joined Adani Infra (India) in August 2008 as Senior Vice President of Human Resources (HR). In September 2012, he was given the same position at A&M Resources, before he was made the Head of HR at Adani Power in October 2013.
From July 2016 to August 2018, Sharma was the Head of HR – Solar Business and Renewable Energy for Adani Green Energy. In September 2018, he was appointed as the Senior Executive Vice President of HR – AEML and Head of HR for Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML). Sharma shifted to Ambuja Cements (another Adani venture) in November 2023 to take up the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Apart from his work with Adani Group, Sharma has also been a part of Ispat Industries, Flex Industries, HEG Limited, Aditya Birla Group, and Ranbaxy Laboratories. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management (PGDIR&PM) from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan.
