The October 2026 cycle is C-DAC’s third and largest contractual recruitment of the calendar year, following earlier JIT drives in February and June 2026. Noida accounts for one of the larger centre-level allocations in the cycle.
The Project Engineer post carries a monthly pay band of ₹39,100 to ₹59,300, translating to approximately ₹4.49 lakh to ₹7.11 lakh per annum as per the Bengaluru centre notification. Senior Project Engineer, Module Lead and Project Lead positions are indicated at ₹8.49 lakh to ₹14 lakh per annum. There is no application fee. Applications must be submitted online through the official C-DAC careers portal at careers.cdac.in, with closing times varying by centre. Contracts are offered for a term of up to three years, or until the end of the respective project.
C-DAC runs research and delivery in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, language computing, health informatics and e-governance. The October drive adds to the pipeline of public-sector technology hiring in a quarter when private IT services firms, including Oracle and Qualcomm, have announced workforce reductions touching their India operations, and comes as the Zinnov-Nasscom GCC Landscape 2026 pegs India’s global capability centre hiring at about 510,000 roles in 2026, with 64% requiring AI, data science or automation skills.
