Stainless steel major Jindal Stainless has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nasscom to give its employees access to FutureSkills Prime, a digital skilling platform run in partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
The MoU, disclosed through a company filing on 23 September 2026, gives all Jindal Stainless employees access to the FutureSkills Prime platform and the network of learning and content partners it operates. Programmes range from foundational digital skills to advanced professional courses, in both self-paced and instructor-led formats.
The platform covers learning across Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, Blockchain and Digital Leadership, according to an ANI report. Eligible programmes will also offer assessment and certification validated by SSC Nasscom, while Jindal Stainless will have a dedicated learning group on the platform to support employee participation.
“The pace of technological change is reshaping industries and redefining the skills required for efficient functioning in the workplace. For an organisation, staying ahead therefore depends not only on adopting new technologies, but also on continually building the capabilities to use them effectively. We believe learning and upskilling must be an ongoing part of professional development, enabling our people to adapt and contribute to the organisation’s evolving needs. Our partnership with FutureSkills Prime is another step towards creating wider access to learning opportunities across the organisation,” said Abhyuday Jindal, Managing Director, Jindal Stainless, in the company’s exchange filing hosted on BSE India.
Sushil Baveja, Chief Human Resource Officer at Jindal Stainless, said the platform would give employees programmes suited to different levels of experience and let them pursue recognised certifications at their own pace.
“People development is most effective when employees have access to learning that is relevant, flexible and suited to their individual levels of experience. Through FutureSkills Prime, our employees can choose from a range of programmes, from foundational digital skills to advanced courses, and pursue recognised certifications at their own pace. The platform gives us a scalable way to facilitate continuous learning across the workforce, while enabling employees to take greater ownership of their professional development,” Baveja said in the same filing.
The partnership includes co-branded certifications for eligible programmes, featuring the logos of MeitY, SSC Nasscom, FutureSkills Prime and Jindal Stainless. Jindal Stainless said the initiative complements its ongoing Smart Factory 4.0 programme at its Hisar and Jajpur facilities, which is deploying digital manufacturing and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) solutions.
