Bhavna Kumar will lead the people agenda at BNP Paribas India as its new Managing Director, Human Resources, with a focus on supporting business growth, strengthening leadership, and building an inclusive, high-performing culture.
Based in Mumbai, Kumar announced the appointment on LinkedIn. Her experience spans human resources, business transformation, talent management, recruitment, organisational change and design, mergers and acquisitions, and project management.

Before BNP Paribas, Kumar spent nearly 11 years at Deutsche Bank, which she joined in November 2015. During her tenure, she held several HR leadership positions, including Global HR Lead for Investment Banking, Sustainability, Risk, Finance and Treasury Technology. Her earlier career spanned HR leadership roles across the banking and healthcare sectors.
