
Apollo Tyres has appointed Mayank Jauhari as Group Head – HR. In the role, he will drive the company’s global HR strategy across markets, leading the design of its global rewards architecture, performance management, HR technology adoption, mobility programmes and the overall HR transformation roadmap.
Jauhari will also partner with teams across commercial operations and the global supply chain to align people capabilities with business growth, with a stated focus on building a future-ready HR operating model.

He joins Apollo Tyres after nearly a decade with A.P. Moller – Maersk. Jauhari’s most recent assignment there was as Global Human Resources Director from October 2025 to July 2026, where he managed HR partnerships for operations spanning Maersk GCC, finance, corporate affairs and strategy.
Before that, from June 2023 to September 2025, Jauhari was Director of HR for GSC, the CCO office and global procurement and fleet management, rolling out people processes across Maersk’s global centres and helping set up HR operations in Poland and Mexico.
