JSW Paints has promoted Ritika Chopra to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
In this role, Chopra will lead the overall people strategy, drive cultural alignment, and support the combined organisation’s growth ambitions in India’s competitive paint and coatings market, a key mandate as JSW Paints and JSW Dulux integrate following the acquisition of Akzo Nobel India Limited.
Chopra steps into the CHRO seat after serving as Head – Human Resources at JSW Paints, a role she has held since December 2024. Her priorities in the expanded remit include organisational integration, talent retention, and strengthening the employee value proposition across the merged entity.
Over the years, Chopra has worked in consumer, retail, and technology-driven businesses. She began at the Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programme as an HR leadership associate, before joining Madura Fashion & Lifestyle in May 2014 as Retail HR Business Partner – West Zone. She moved to Pantaloons shortly after, where she progressed from Lead – Talent Acquisition and HRBP to Lead – Talent Management, Learning and HRBP, and eventually Head of Human Resources, West.
She then joined Amazon in December 2020, where she held roles including Sr. HR Business Partner for Prime Video India and Sr. HR Program Manager for APAC & MEA. Prior to JSW Paints, she served as Head of Human Resources at Purplle.com’s Consumer Packaged Goods business. Chopra holds an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Fergusson College.
