Srinivasu Malladi has taken charge as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Bharat Forge, the Kalyani Group’s engineering and manufacturing flagship, bringing over 22 years of HR leadership experience to one of India’s largest industrial employers.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bharat Forge,” Malladi shared on LinkedIn.
In his current role, Malladi leads the HR function for a diverse workforce of more than 15,000 employees across multiple business units and locations. His mandate encompasses end-to-end HR strategy, workforce transformation, talent development, organisational design, and industrial relations across the company’s operations.
Prior to becoming CHRO, Malladi served as Vice President & Head HR at Bharat Forge, having been appointed to the role in January 2024. He worked closely with senior leadership on HR transformation, organisation redesign, talent development and industrial relations.
Before joining Bharat Forge, he served as Senior Director, Human Resources at Jubilant Ingrevia, where he led HR and industrial relations across manufacturing sites nationwide. He has also held HR leadership roles at GSK Consumer Healthcare and Johnson & Johnson, building deep expertise in unionised manufacturing environments, including experience with wage settlements, voluntary retirement schemes, and collective bargaining.
Malladi’s earlier career stints include roles at Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, NCR Corporation, Granules India, and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam. He also served as a Class-I civil servant in the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Hyderabad and a BCom (Honours) from Osmania University.
