Birlasoft has promoted Varun Mittal to Senior Director – Global HR Shared Services.

Mittal has been associated with Birlasoft for over 9 years. He joined the company in October 2016 as Head HR Ops & Compliance (HRSS). In July 2019, he became Associate Director of Human Resources. This was followed by Mittal’s appointment as Global Human Resources Director in October 2022.
Before Birlasoft, Mittal was associated with Aircel for more than 4 years. He was first appointed as Senior Manager – HR in April 2012, and he became Circle Head – HR in February 2016. Mittal was also associated with Reliance MediaWorks from December 2007 to April 2012 as Manager – HR.
In May 2007, Mittal started working for Infinity Advertising as Assistant Manager – HR. From December 2004 to May 2007, he was with Goto Customer Services as Assistant Manager – HR. Mittal was also a part of Espire Infolabs from October 2003 to December 2004 as Executive – HR.
